Marmol Export, U.S.A.
In 1985, Ernesto S. Aviñó Sr. started Marmol Export, U.S.A. by importing
containers directly from Spain and shipping to distributors throughout the
United States. Shortly thereafter he opened the company’s headquarters in Miami,
Florida.
In 1996, Ernesto L. Aviñó, Jr. graduated from Florida International University
with his B.S. in Civil Engineering. He joined Marmol Export U.S.A. in 1998 and
established the construction division. He obtained his Certified General
Contractor license shortly thereafter. In 2002, he became Vice President and now
oversees the general operations for the company. Today, construction has become
a vital part to the diversity of the business.
